INGREDIENTS

  • Ingredients for chicken:
  • 100 grams oil
  • 1Kg of small chicken cubes
  • 2 Onions
  • 1/2 Kg Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Red chilli pepper powder or cayenne pepper
  • 1tsp grounded or crushed red chilli pepper
  • 1tsp white pepper
  • 1tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Ingredients for coconut sauce:

  • 250 grams gram flour (besan)
  • 8 cups water
  • 1tsp turmeric powder
  • 1tsp red chilli powder
  • 1tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 knorr chicken cubes
  • 2 cans of coconut milk
  • Garnishes:
  • Chopped ginger
  • Chopped and fried garlic
  • Chopped green onions
  • Chopped and fried onions (shallots)
  • Boil egg and chop
  • Fried noodles to crumble
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Cut and deseeded lemon
  • Crushed pepper

METHOD

    First take the oil and let it get warm in the pan.

  • As soon as it’s warm enough, add chopped onions to it and let them cook till they turn pink.
  • Add the chicken boneless cubes to it followed by the masala and some turmeric (Haldi).
  • Add salt, grounded red pepper and cayenne pepper. Now stir fry the chicken.
  • After frying it for a few minutes, add the tomatoes followed by some coriander and green chillies.
  • Let the chicken cook for a while till it’s ready.
  • Now to make the khaosey sauce, take gram flour (began) and add water to make a runny paste.
  • Now add some salt, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and knorr chicken cube.
  • After all of these ingredients are mixed together, add them to a pan and let it boil.
  • Add some coconut milk for while it’s still on the stove.
  • For the noodles, take Knorr Noodles and boil them. Set them aside.
  • Time to assemble! Take your noodles out in a bowl and add the coconut sauce followed by the cooked chicken.
  • Now add your favourite garnishes to add a spark to its taste! Enjoy.
